
Grants for Scholarships The ideal candidate will have significant experience in one or more of the following: Behavioral neuroscience / neuropharmacology, pre-clinical pain, stress and / or models of anxiety research; stereotaxic surgery, intracerebral and intrathecal injection; immunohistochemistry, neurochemistry, in vivo microdialysis coupled for HPLC, mass spectrometry for the quantitation of small molecules, Western immunoblotting, RT-qPCR. Peer-reviewed publications in the field relevance to the project is also desirable.

Neurobiological mechanisms underlying fear-induced analgesia and hyperalgesia related concerns will be investigated.
